NDIS Plan Manager / Bookkeeper – Part time
About the role:
This is a part-time position for a customer service professional with experience in reconciliations and budget management. It is 20 hours per week at the moment but is likely to become a full time position in due course. Fixed full day is Monday and other days and times are flexible.
We are seeking an NDIS Plan Manager to deliver a high quality plan management service to our clients across Australia, and to help our business grow.
You will be an expert at setting up and keeping track of NDIS plan budgets and offering clients guidance on how to understand and comply with the NDIS requirements. You will process payments to Providers. Your ability to think creatively and actively participate in business development activities will be important in the role.
As a NDIS Plan Manager your day may include:
- Reconciling and making payments to Service Providers.
- Managing client onboarding; chatting with potential clients, managing Service Agreements, linking plans with the NDIS Portal and establishing arrangements on our client management system.
- Providing a high level of customer service and advice to clients, plan nominees and support coordinators, including what supports may be claimed in accordance with the NDIA price guide etc.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in the NDIS and Mapple Care’s business systems, including recommendations for improvement.
- Liaising with Service Providers to ensure compliance with NDIS invoice requirements and resolving discrepancies.
- Accurate and timely processing of provider invoices and client reimbursements.
- Bookkeeping for Mapple Care accounts in Xero
- Weekly payroll for Mapple Care
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications, experience, skills
- ESSENTIAL: a qualification in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Demonstrated experience working as a NDIS plan manager.
- Working with Children (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Check (Yellow Card).
- Thorough working knowledge and understanding of the NDIS Guidelines, price guide and price limits.
- Experienced in financial budget management and monitoring.
- Accurate and efficient financial data processing, attention to detail, and excellent reconciliation skills.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office, and business management systems.
- Great customer service; and clear and effective professional communication skills – in person and in writing.
- Experienced in building strong relationships with clients, supports and providers.
- Organised and initiative-taking. You’re known for being great with managing your time and priorities to deliver quality service to clients, and good outcomes for the business.
- Team player that will work well with other Mapple Care people, to support our clients and our business.
What we offer
Annual Salary
$70,000 – 80,000 p.a. + superannuation -Pro rata
